CrowdStrike Alternatives: Five AI SOC Options to Compare
On this page
CrowdStrike at a glance
CrowdStrike built its reputation on endpoint detection and response (EDR) with the Falcon platform. It has since expanded into security operations with Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, Charlotte Agentic SOAR, and Charlotte AI, an agentic security analyst built natively on Falcon. In September 2025 it announced Charlotte AI AgentWorks, a no-code environment for building security agents with partners.
Why teams look for CrowdStrike alternatives
Falcon’s AI works best on Falcon data. Many attacks now begin in identity providers, cloud control planes, and SaaS applications, and some teams find coverage thins once an investigation leaves the endpoint.
Others want to avoid placing endpoint, SIEM, and SOC automation with a single vendor, or find module-based licensing hard to forecast as their environment grows.
Five CrowdStrike alternatives compared
Each option below takes a different route to AI-driven security operations.

| Alternative | Approach | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Exaforce | Agentic SOC platform and MDR | Teams that want cloud, SaaS, and identity investigations automated end to end |
| Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSIAM | AI-driven SOC platform combining SIEM, XDR, and automation | Large enterprises standardized on Palo Alto Networks |
| Microsoft Sentinel with Security Copilot | Cloud-native SIEM with generative AI agents | Organizations centered on Microsoft 365 and Azure |
| Torq | AI SOC platform built on hyperautomation | Teams that want agents tied to custom workflows |
| Intezer | AI SOC platform with forensic analysis | Teams focused on endpoint and phishing alert triage |
Exaforce: agentic investigations beyond the endpoint
Exaforce starts from context. Events from cloud, SaaS, identity, and endpoint sources are resolved at ingest against a semantic model of users, resources, and their relationships. Task-specific AI agents called Exabots then triage, investigate, and respond from that shared picture. It can also sit alongside an existing EDR, adding cloud and identity context to endpoint detections.
Choosing the right CrowdStrike alternative
If most incidents begin and end on endpoints, Falcon’s native AI remains a strong fit. If investigations regularly cross into identity and cloud, compare how far each alternative can follow them.
Run a pilot on a few weeks of real alerts and measure how many still need an analyst. That number will tell you more than any feature list.
