Exaforce was built by engineers who had already spent years on the wrong side of the alert queue.

The team came out of F5 and Palo Alto Networks, and out of Google, where several of them worked on large language models. That combination shaped what the company ended up building. People who have run production security infrastructure know why deterministic playbooks break. People who have trained large models know what those models are genuinely good at and where they fall over.

The company raised a $125M Series B in May 2026, bringing total funding to $200M. HarbourVest, Peak XV, and Khosla Ventures took part, joining earlier investors Khosla Ventures, Mayfield, Thomvest Ventures, and Touring Capital. In June 2026 Exaforce earned both AWS Security Competency and AWS AI Competency. The company has also received the Intellyx Digital Innovator Award.

The product thesis has not changed since the first line of code. A large language model on its own struggles to hold memory across a long investigation, reasons differently from one run to the next, and gets expensive quickly on large data sets. Exaforce splits that work across three specialized models instead. The Semantic Data Model resolves entities and relationships and maintains a living map of the environment. The Behavioral Model learns what normal looks like across identities, applications, data, resources, and locations. That engine ships two ways. Security teams run the platform themselves, or Exaforce MDR runs it for them around the clock as a managed detection and response service.

The standard Exaforce holds itself to is the one it holds the product to. Verdicts get explained, claims carry evidence, and analysts keep authority over the decisions that need judgment.
