AI SOC Market Share and Vendors

On this page

Buyers researching the AI security operations center (SOC) market often look for a clear market share chart. That chart does not really exist yet. The category is young, most vendors are private, and analyst firms still define its boundaries differently, so any single share figure deserves caution.

Why market share is hard to pin down

Some vendors sell standalone AI SOC products, while others bundle AI features into an existing security information and event management (SIEM) or endpoint platform. Counting the second group inflates the market, and leaving it out understates how many SOCs already use AI in some form.

Revenue is rarely disclosed, and pricing models vary from per-alert to per-asset to flat subscriptions. Funding announcements and customer counts get quoted as proxies, but neither reliably reflects how widely a product is used in production.

The main vendor groups

Large security platform vendors add AI copilots and triage features to products customers already own. Their reach is wide because of their installed base, though the AI often stops at suggestions.

Specialist AI SOC analyst vendors focus on Tier 1 triage and plug into the existing stack. Agentic SOC platform vendors go further, covering detection through response and often bringing their own data layer.

Where Exaforce sits among AI SOC vendors

Exaforce is an agentic SOC platform. Its AI agents, called Exabots, cover detection, triage, investigation, response, and hunting, and it is available as a platform or as a managed MDR service.

Evaluating vendors without reliable share data

In place of market share, compare evidence you can verify. Look at published customer case studies, independent peer review ratings, and how each product performs on your own alerts during a pilot.

Ask every vendor the same questions about coverage across identity, cloud, and SaaS, how verdicts are explained, and where human approval is required. Consistent answers to those questions tell you more about fit than any share estimate.
